Navigation autopilot in the Tesla detects the light

Tesla already is developing new features for its autopilot. They include, among other things, support for detection of traffic lights and stop signs.

Now, as reported by the American manufacturer, both solutions have entered the public domain. A new feature available in the software update 2020.12.6 automatically detects approaching traffic lights or a Stop sign, and then automatically slows the car.

The driver obviously gets a notification, and after its approval itself Tesla stops on the red line indicated on the screen. To move again, the driver must press the accelerator pedal.
