This decision was taken after Prime Minister Narendra modi introduced 21-day nationwide quarantine to contain the spread of the virus COVID-19, which claimed the lives of 11 people and infected more than 500 in the country at the time of this writing.
In addition to the suspension of the premiere run 10 Mi in Xiaomi India closed their shops Mi Home across the country temporarily and will not offer home delivery. Previously, the company has also postponed the first sale of Redmi Note Pro 9 Max in India, which was to be held yesterday.
