Raspberry Pi 4 here — and this update is awesome. Nobody expected that the new version of the popular single-Board computer will get so many improvements. From the point of view of physical design has remained the same: 4 Raspberry Pi Model B looks exactly like the previous flagship Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. It’s a tiny computer with a bunch of connectors, the size of a deck of cards.
Than Raspberry Pi 4 better than the previous version
Updated everything. System-on-chip is faster. The processor uses the Cortex-A72 (four-core 64-bit ARMv8 1.5 GHz). Supported hardware decoding H. 265 video.
For many years the Raspberry Pi “suffered” from a small volume of operative memory — from 512 MB to 1 GB. For the first time, you can buy a model with more memory if you need it. The base model comes with 1GB, but you can optionally buy a model with 2 GB of memory or even 4 GB. The transfer speed of memory is also improved, because the creators switched from LPDDR2 to LPDDR4.
As for connections, it is now included true Gigabit (Ethernet USB 2.0). This will open up many use cases for servers and other things. Also there are two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0. Bluetooth updated from 4.2 to 5.0.
A full-sized HDMI port is missing. Now instead of two micro-HDMI port that allows you to connect two 4K display at 60 frames per second, to one Raspberry Pi. And all this for $ 35 (basic model). Models with 2GB and 4GB of memory are 45 and $ 55, respectively.
