LG Kitchen appliance makes it easy to brew a beer at home

At CES 2019, LG has made a truly intriguing announcement for fans of a cold craft beer — she introduced the brewing apparatus HomeBrew. It simplifies the process of production, independently controlling the fermentation and other processes, the correct course which is designed to ensure highest quality product. All that is needed from the user, this special capsule with the ingredients, water and patience, since the production can take some time. The development was carried out over three years — no wonder the company have given the presentation a lot of attention.

The ease of manufacture of beer is achieved thanks to special capsules, which are all the necessary ingredients: brewer’s yeast, essential oil of hops and different flavors. To buy capsule with third-party companies such as British firm Muntons, which produces raw materials for the brewing industry started in 1921. The manufacturing process begins immediately after adding water, the installation of the tanks with the ingredients, choice of varieties and pressing the start button.

List of Beers:

  • American IPA;
  • American pale ale APA;
  • English stout;
  • Belgian witbier;
  • Czech Pilsner.

The representatives of LG warned that the manufacture of the drink will go for about two weeks — the duration depends on the variety. To follow the process will be via Android or iOS app. The machine automatically monitors the fermentation process, writing an algorithm which took more than three years. The apparatus protects the beverage from contamination by wild yeast that brewers often happens to beginners. After making flavorful beer machine self-cleaned with hot water and becoming completely sterilized and ready to manufacture the next batch.

The device seems even more tempting if you recall the scientists are predicting that by the year 2099 the beer will become scarce drink. Unfortunately, the company still has not named a price brewing HomeBrew machine and capsules, or the date of their release.
